District Leadership Team
Decades of combined service by Bill Jarnigan, Randall "Coach" Bradley, and Josh Cameron were recognized through proclamations and board appreciation.
Jefferson County Schools recognized outgoing school board members Bill Jarnigan, the late Randall "Coach" Bradley, and Josh Cameron during the Jefferson County Board of School Commissioners work session on Aug. 24, 2026.
Director of Schools Dr. Tommy Arnold read proclamations issued by Jefferson County Mayor Mark Potts honoring the lasting contributions each individual made through their service to students, schools, and the Jefferson County community.
Bill Jarnigan was elected to the Jefferson County School Board in 2006 and served 20 years representing District 3. He achieved Boardmanship as a Level IV and served as vice chairman from 2010-2014 and 2016-2024 and as chairman from 2014-2016.
Randall "Coach" Bradley was elected to the Jefferson County School Board in 2010 and served 16 years representing District 1. He achieved Boardmanship as a Level IV and served as vice chairman from 2018-2020 and chairman from 2022-2024. In addition to his service on the school board, Coach Bradley dedicated his life to serving the constituents of District 1 as a teacher, coach, county commissioner, and school board member.
Josh Cameron was elected to the Jefferson County School Board in 2022 and, at age 38, was the youngest member seated. He represented District 3, served as chairman from 2024-2026, and achieved Boardmanship as a Level III.
The proclamation honoring Coach Bradley was accepted by his wife, Carol Bradley.
Jefferson County Schools extends its appreciation to Mr. Jarnigan, Coach Bradley, and Mr. Cameron for their service and dedication to the students, staff, families, and communities of Jefferson County.
